The Diamond Ridge Elective Program allows campers to choose their own activity schedule based on their interests. Each camper selects a major, either in Athletics, Arts or Outdoors. Three one-hour periods each day are devoted to specialty activities within the selected major. As young people mature they begin to acquire specific interests. Our Elective Program is, thus, the perfect opportunity to further develop those interests and gain new ones! Campers are able to combine activities within a session in Athletic, Arts and Outdoors.
In addition to a major, each camper also selects a minor that is comprised of a 40 minute daily activity period. While a camper’s major remains the same for the entire session, his/her minor is selected on a daily basis. Some popular minors include street hockey, soccer, gaga, boating, archery, yoga, cooking and jewelcraft.

Athletic Majors
Within each Athletic Specialty, campers are grouped by age and ability, to best challenge their talents and skills. Our staff is comprised of high school and college level coaches and players who offer outstanding instruction in a given team or individual sport. The coaches at Diamond Ridge strive to foster a positive and goal-oriented environment.

Outdoor Adventure Majors
Explore the natural setting of Camp Diamond Ridge and all that it offers campers including our lake, wilderness trails, creek and wildlife. The Outdoor Specialties enable campers to develop new skills while appreciating the picturesque surroundings.
